The Greatest and the Godfather of Soul.

Two legends utterly absorbed in each other’s force fields while waving to the crowd from an open-topped Cadillac at the Bud Billiken parade in Chicago in August of 1966.

Ali, known as Cassius Clay at the time, was winning fights in front of record-breaking crowds, while Brown was breaking his own records with hits like “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.”
