We go crazy for the super-sexy, sprezzatura soaked wooden speedboats built by Riva in the ’50s and ’60s and favored by the likes of Brigitte Bardot, Sean Connery and Ferruccio Lamborghini.

So apparently does Frederique Constant. The high-end Swiss watch manufacturer, a partner of the Riva Historical Society, has introduced a new limited-edition Runabout Chronograph Automatic Collection honoring the classic craft.

The new range features two models, both powered by the ultra-precise FC-393 automatic chronograph movement.

One finished in rose gold and the other in stainless steel, they both come on alligator straps.

The watches were just unveiled at the 42nd Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance, sponsored by the watch brand, which featured nearly 100 vintage and classic boats including several Rivas from runabouts and racers to custom-built wooden yachts.

We’ll take one of each, please…
