We told you it was coming. Now it’s here.

Dodge unveiled the Charger Hellcat this week at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit.

And it’s just as hedonistic as we hoped it would be…

Packing the same 707 hp 6.2-liter engine as the Challenger SRT Hellcat, the Charger becomes not only the quickest sedan in the world but also the fastest.

A quarter mile can be churned out in the 11-second range (on street tires, mind you), and given enough leg room, the Charger will reach its V-max of 204 mph.

And because you’ll want to hit the brakes at some point, Dodge fitted 15.4-inch Brembos, the largest ever bolted to a Chrysler group car.

We really like this newfound sense of humor from Dodge. But we’d like them to go one further and shoehorn that Hellcat engine into Dart.

You know, for shits and giggles…
