Earlier this week, we got some seat time on Royal Enfield’s new Continental GT café racer. But the Conti GT is just one bike in a whole heard of modern café racers.

So we rounded up the best modern café racers to feed your rocker side (and to make your inevitable purchase decision easier):

Moto Guzzi V7 Racer:

If the transverse V-twin and number plates weren’t enough, the chromed tank and metallic red frame will be sure to make you stand out from the pack… It’s Italian, what did you expect?

Triumph Thruxton:

It’s a popular choice among the rockers for good reason. It’s light. It’s quick. And it’s everything British.

BMW R nineT:

While technically not a full café racer out of the box, BMW does offer enough factory options to make it one. Enough so that you can pull up to Ace café and still leave with all your teeth intact.

At a quarter of the price of the other bikes on this list, the Conti GT is a blank slate ready for you to add your own personal touches. We suggest adding more power (as we always do)… just don’t mess with the looks.

Norton Commando Café Racer:

Definitely one of the top performers of the group, the Norton Commando will garner respect at every café on both sides of the Atlantic. Because c’mon… just look at it.
