If owning a supercar were easy (or cheap), everybody would do it.

But thanks to Blancfleet—a new service our brothers-in-arms at UrbanDaddy tipped us off to—all you’ll need, at the very least, is a license and a part-time job.

How it works:

You pledge money based on an hourly rental rate. Simple.

When enough like-minded enthusiasts pledge enough money, Blancfleet buys the car.

When they get the car, it’s first-come, first-served on reserving the hours you paid for. So keep an eye on your investment.

That rate includes taxes, insurance and unlimited miles. (Gas and tires are at your right foot’s discretion.)

When it’s your turn, you pick up and drop off the supercar you reserved at any of the Icon Parking locations throughout NYC. (We suggest the garages by the tunnels and bridges to minimize your time on city streets.)

During that time, it’s yours. Show it off to your friends, get groceries or road trip it (if you’ve pledged enough).

Cars in the current fleet include a Ferrari 458 Italia, a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse and a Nissan GT-R, with Blancfleet working on getting a Bugatti Veyron.

Beats the hell out of Avis…
