As we mentioned in May, a collection of cars owned and driven by Frank Lloyd Wright will be headlining January 11’s Arizona Concours d’Elegance.

As we didn’t mention—because the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation just announced it—one of those beauties will be a Cherokee Red 1937 AC 16/80 Roadster. It’s the exact car the visionary architect drove during his winter stays in Scottsdale at his architecture school.

“Give me the luxuries of life and I will willingly do without the necessities.”
