Last weekend at the legendary Nürburgring 24 Hours, the toughest endurance race in the world, Bugatti took the lead.
Before the ADAC Zurich 24h Race at the famed track officially started, two Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesses led the pack of 175 competing race cars to run a lap of honor.
Wolfgang Duerheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., was behind the wheel of the 1,200 HP Vitesse World Record Car that set the world speed record for open-top production sports cars at a top speed of 254.04 mph last year.
At least we think it was him—all we saw was a rather well-dressed blur…
