If you missed the opportunity to pick yourself up one of the Hesketh 308 F1 cars driven by James Hunt, this makes for a nice consolation prize.

Their first all-new model in 30 years, the Hesketh 24 makes for quite the comeback. To honor Hesketh’s first win in F1 at the ’75 Dutch Grand Prix, with Hunt at the helm, the 24 is named after the number that adorned Hunt’s car, and styled with that same classic paint job.

The 1950cc V-twin engine is tuned by Harris Performance Engines (also found in the equally British Morgan 3-wheeler), so expect torque and lots of it.

Only 24 are being made (go figure), so act fast. And if you want to see the new Hesketh in action, one will be moving at a decent clip up the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month.

Passenger seats will be available on future Heskeths, but for now just do what Hunt would do… and sit her on the tank…
