Most would consider the McLaren P1 a perfect super car and call it a day. Well, apparently not McLaren.

Hot on the heels of the announcement of Ferrari’s track-focused LaFerrari FXX, McLaren sent a letter to all 378 P1 customers, asking if they’d be interested in something similar.

If that’s not customer service, we don’t know what is.

Unlike LaFerrari FXX, which is rumored to house an F1-derived V6 turbo hybrid, the track-focused P1 will be coercing more power from the already-intimidating 905 horsepower turbo V8.

McLaren also mentioned they’d be making the track-only P1 more aerodynamically extreme as well.

If McLaren aren’t careful, they might start putting their race cars to shame…
