Bardot, a Rolls devotée, acquired the car, which features H.J. Mulliner coachwork, in 1970 while living in Paris.
Introduced in 1955 as a replacement for the Silver Dawn, the Silver Cloud became one of the legendary marque’s most iconic models.
Painted midnight blue, it’s being offered without reserve, but is expected to bring in around $500,000 when the hammer falls.

As it happens, Bardot wasn’t the only well-known owner of the car; over the years it also belonged to French singer Charles Aznavour and shoe designer Charles Jourdan.
As we noted back in the fall, in 1966 – the year she married German playboy Gunther Sachs – Bardot was behind the wheel of another Rolls.
Having driven one ourselves recently we have to admit it’s habit forming….
