We’re not sure how many miles the Holy Father managed to put on his prize hog, but the machine has now fetched up on the slate of Bonhams’ Grand Palais sale in Paris on February 6.
Pope Frank donated the bike to Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma, which is selling it to raise finds for soup kitchens and such.
Signed on the tank by his Holiness at a special ceremony at the Vatican in November, the bike’s expected to bring in around $20,000 or so.
Personally, we’re waiting till the Pope puts his Schott Perfecto on the block…
