From 1968 to 1984, Saab built a compact luxury car called the 99, predecessor of the now famous 900.
Designed by Sixten Sason and unveiled in Stockholm on November 22, 1967, the 99 was fitted with a Triumph engine and had the power to back up its prettiness.
It was also the Swedish marque’s last rally car.
