Bonhams’ inaugural classic car auction in the fashionable seaside town of Knokke-Le-Zoute in Belgium on October 11 will feature this ultra-rare, recently rediscovered 1954 Ferrari Tipo 250 Europa Prototype.
The car, one of only two ever built, was at one point sold to Italian film director Roberto Rossellini.
An ex-works Ferrari driver once referred to the car as “Humphrey Bogart–handsome in a world too full of Liberace.”
