Thus was born the Ferrari 330, built by the famed marque for five short years before the 365 came into being.
In the beginning, the 330 America was just a 250 GT/E with a bigger engine, while the 330 GTC/GTS had the same chassis as the 275.
Today, it remains one of the most “accessible,” relatively affordable classic Ferraris.
And while John Lennon might be the most famous 330 owner, on the occasion of the model’s 50th, let’s also remember socialite and oil heiress Sandra West, who is buried inside her 330 America at the Alamo Masonic Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
