On July 12 at the UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, this shy beast will finally be revealed to the world:

The Jaguar Project 7 concept, based on the new 2014 Jaguar F-Type, winner of the “World Car Design of the Year” award.

According to Jaguar Director of Design Ian Callum, the Project 7 has one purpose: “to be driven fast and enjoyed.”

The name comes from Jag’s seven victories at Le Mans between 1951 and 1990, while the jaunty blue paintwork is in homage to the unbeatable Jaguar D-Types of 1956/1957.

With power supplied by a 550 hp supercharged 5-liter V8 engine, the Project 7 is sure to turn heads even at Goodwood, where the world’s sexiest supercars are literally a dime a dozen…
