In the annals of motorsport, no partnership has been as iconic and successful as that of Porsche and Martini in the ’70s.

The Italian spirits brand sponsored the works Porsche 917 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1971, the 911 Carrera RS that won the Targa Florio in 1973, and the Porsche 936s that won Le Mans in 1976 and 1977, to name a few.

The distinctive red and blue Martini colors are a potent souvenir of Porsche’s racing prowess, and the Driver’s Selection by Porsche Design, the automaker’s line of luxury apparel and accessories, often pays homage to them.

For spring, they’re coming out with a number of new items including these jackets that do justice to the fabled pairing with just the right touch of vintage appeal and the promise of serious acceleration.
