The words “Spanish” and “supercar” don’t often appear side by side.
A notable exception is the V8-engined Pegaso Z-102, produced from 1951 to 1958.
On offer at RM Auctions’ Amelia Island sale on March 9 is this extremely rare Z-102 Series II Cabriolet with coachwork by France’s famed Saoutchik.
So rare in fact, that it’s the only one in existence, and hence expected to bring in up to $1.75 million.
That other Spanish iconoclast Picasso pales in comparison…
