In our latest tribute to the legendary Aston Martin marque on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, we present a set of celebrity wheels:
George Harrison’s 1964 Aston Martin DB5, a 007-worthy vehicle purchased by the Beatle around the time that the band released Rubber Soul.
However, we think Harrison’s choice was probably influenced more by Help!, the James Bond spoof film they premiered in 1965.
Whatever the inspiration, we applaud Harrison’s excellent taste—which apparently disappeared a few years later when he started sporting that droopy mustache…
