Our favorite UK auction house, Bonhams, is holding its first automobile sale in Florida on February 23 in conjunction with the stylish Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance, and the vehicles on offer are suitably swank.
Our favorite is this unusual 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder conversion finished in Giallo Fly yellow, originally supplied as a coupe in Italy where it was then made into a convertible.
This one is expected to bring in up to about $380,000.
“Daytona” was an unofficial name given to the model to commemorate free online auto insurance quotes Ferrari’s incredible 1-2-3 finishwith the 330P4 at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, the year the 365 GTB/4 was first unveiled.
A big legacy to live up to, which Ferrari managed with aplomb…
