The other one was auctioned off in 2010 for $4.6 million, setting a new world record.
The car is being offered for private sale at a cool $4.7 million
The car is being offered for private sale by Surrey, UK-based Aston Martin specialists RS Williams, on the occasion of Aston’s 100th anniversary.
Since its debut in Goldfinger, examples of the DB5, the most iconic Bond car of all time, have been featured in Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale and most recently, Skyfall.
Most recently, current 007 Daniel Craig drove a DB5 in Skyfall
This DB5 is in absolutely perfect condition because it was never actually driven in the films, but was instead used for promotion ahead of the release of Thunderball.
Doesn’t mean you can’t use it for some 007-style exploits of
your own, however…
