We often find strange things in our basement that have been missing for years.
Unfortunately, none of them is a classic Ferrari.
Some lucky fellow discovered this 1962 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II by Pininfarina in a basement in Marseilles, however, where it was preserved in a sort of time capsule since the 1970s when it was apparently parked and forgotten.
That makes it one of the most authentic and original examples extant.
Expected to fetch up to $1.1 million at Artcurial’s Retromobile auction in Paris on February 8, the iconic car even comes with the cassette tapes the owner used to listen
to while cruising the streets—including something called “Sexy Show with Veronica”…
