Faster than a speeding bullet—maybe not.
Faster than a Boeing 777—no problem.
Lamborghini’s envy-inducing new Aventador Roadster proved its mettle in Miami this morning, where it easily bested the speed of a passenger jet hurtling down the runway for takeoff.
Five of the 700 mph Roadsters were able to hit 210 mph on the tarmac, while jets manage a measly 150 to 180 mph.
The FAA meanwhile assures us no flights were delayed due to the demonstration of the Roadster’s prowess.
We always knew there were a lot quicker ways to get home from a dirty weekend in South Beach…
