We advised you that Aston Martin has lots up its sleeve for its centenary celebrations this year, and they’ve just kicked things off with a James Bond–worthy exploit, airlifting a Vanquish super GT to the top of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.
It’s the first time a car has been placed on the helipad, site of a famed high-altitude tennis match between Andre Agassi and Roger Federer, situated 1,000 feet above the ground at the top of the iconic sail-shaped building.
As publicity stunts go, this may be rather pointless. But since it’s their birthday, we’re willing to let it go…
