To help keep us warm this winter, Taschen is re-issuing the long out-of-print Helmut Newton classic, World Without Men.

Featuring photos taken for fashion mags between the mid-1960s and early 1980s, it’s one of the first books the late, great lensman ever published.

The provocative pix, like this one from Stern magazine taken in Saint-Tropez in 1978, are accompanied by journal-entry-style texts by Newton, full of anecdotes about each grueling shoot.
