The Lamborghini Miura, as DRIVEN readers are well aware, is truly one of the greatest sports cars ever made.

The Italian marque recently celebrated the 45th anniversary of the legendary model, built from 1966 to 1972.

As if the Miura needed any help securing a place in the pantheon of cool, it’s worth noting that Frank Sinatra had one upholstered in wild boar skin, while Miles Davis kept a .357 Magnum in his.

Among Miura enthusiasts, the SV or “Spinto Veloce” versions, of which only 150 were ever made, are the ultimate acquisition.

The one pictured here, built in 1969 and set to cross the block at RM Auctions’ Arizona sale, which starts tomorrow—one of three sexy ’60s Lambos on offer—is expected to bring in up to $850,000.

Sadly, it hasn’t got Ol’ Blue Eyes’s exotic upholstery, but we’re sure your local customizer could take care of that…
