As modern sports watches go, the Rolex Daytona is pretty hard to beat.
So is American racing driver Scooter Gabel, who owned this Daytona, on offer at Antiquorum’s December 13 sale in New York.
Expected to bring in up to $50,000, Gabel was presented with it in 2007 when his team won the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona endurance race, where the watch got its name in the first place, driving a Porsche GT3 Cup.
As a bonus, it comes complete with Gabel’s slightly soiled racing suit and baseball cap.
Put all of it on, and maybe some racing magic will rub off on you…
