This fellow really has no call to look quite so dour.
He’s wearing one of the key pieces from famed British brand Fred Perry’s new British Workwear capsule collection.
The collection takes the classic FP laurel logo from the brand’s iconic polo shirts and reinterprets it as a leather patch on rugged pieces referencing British factory and workshop wear of the 1930s and ’40s.
Perry, a dashing champion British tennis player, was himself the working-class son of a cotton spinner, so the collection isn’t as contrived as some workwear takes.
Now cheer up, son, There’s a good lad…
