Look out for this kandy-kolored tangerine scream late next year:
The Hennessey Venom GT2, a Lotus-based hypercar from Texas-based Hennessey Performance, dedicated to making merely ridiculously fast cars into mind-blowingly fast ones.
With a whopping 1,500 hp derived from a 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine – or as Autoblog astutely points out, one unit of hp for every kg of weight it carries – Hennessey has wisely refrained from releasing any performance numbers until they can proved on the track.
Here’s one digit they have lifted the lid on, though the $1.25 million sticker price….
