Back in August, a 1972 Can-Am Champion L&M Porsche 917/10 Spyder driven by the great George Follmer was sold by Mecum Auctions for a whopping $5.5 million, making it one of the world’s most expensive Porsches.

Of course, it is about to disappear into a private vault, but the rare racer put in an appearance the other day at the Petersen Automotive Museum‘s George Follmer Tribute Night.

The LA shrine to automotive history hosted a display of Follmer’s championship cars from private collections including the impressive Porsche—the most powerful road-racing car ever built—the Trans-Am BOSS 302, the IROC 911 and more.

The Porsche may not be seen again in our lifetime, so get a good look now…
