Having driven Bentleys full throttle on snow before, we can attest that it’s an experience not to be missed.
Full throttle on ice, however, is something even DRIVEN editors aren’t privileged—or trusted—enough to do.
However, the famed British marque is offering a “Power on Ice” adventure this winter for those with a passion for inappropriate speed and the checkbook to indulge some.
You don’t actually have to be a Bentley owner to join the expedition, which lasts two days and costs about $12,800 per driver.
Bentley’s cool new Continental GT V8 and luxurious W12 models will be on hand to demonstrate their impressive all-wheel drive abilities in sessions led by Finnish rally star and four-time World Rally champion Juha Kankkunen.
You might remember him as the chap who set the world Ice Speed Record in February 2011, piloting a Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible to 205 mph on the frozen Baltic Sea off the Finnish coast.
And when you’re done breaking his record, there’s some snowmobiling, a nighttime husky sled safari, traditional Finnish smoke saunas and dinner at an historic reindeer farm.
Which may or may not include Donner and Blitzen as the main course…
