Purists still bridle at the idea of a four-door Porsche, but practical-minded sorts have embraced the Panamera wholeheartedly.
We expect they’ll open their ams even wider for the new Platinum Edition, due out in January.
As the name implies, an homage to the precious metal is the key design element.
A subtle two-tone effect is achieved both inside and out.
The former is fitted with a new black/luxor beige leather combo, while exterior details are finished in platinum silver in contrast to paintwork available in five colors including mahogany metallic lacquer (top).
Available in both regular and AWD trims, it’s aiming squarely for the “expensive but worth it” set…
