Those attending the Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Massachusetts, were no doubt astonished at the sight of this clever contraption.
To celebrate what it has dubbed “Motor-Tober,” the carmaker converted a chili red convertible into a boat powered by a 6 hp outboard motor to travel the three-mile race course between the Boston University Boathouse and Christian Herter Park.
Kind of makes that Boston Whaler you’re so proud of look pretty lame…
