For over 30 years, BMW’s GS series has set the standard for big-travel enduro bikes with big guts and style.

The opposed-twin “boxer” engine versions are especially capable of taking riders to remote corners of the globe.

The new R 1200 GS has too many upgrades to attempt to list, but the big one is a completely newly designed engine—BMW R 1200 GS 1170 cc with a rated output of125 hp at  7700 rpm and a maximum torque of 125 Nm at 6500 rpm.

Big. Fast. Cool.

And no, you don’t need one of those silly boilersuits to ride one…
