This somewhat odd-looking vehicle is the one-off Rolls-Royce Hyperion custom-designed by famed Italian styling house Pininfarina for British car collector Roland Hall in 2008.

Having made its official debut at Monterey when built, the Hyperion became something of a mythical beast as befits its name (that of a Greek Titan) since, surfacing in Dubai (where else) in 2011 where it was for sale at €4.5 million.

Based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, the carbon fiber car has a 6.75-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine good for 460 hp and 720 Nm of torque.

Now it has popped up once again, on offer from supercar market Al Ain Class in the UAE at the bargain basement price of about $3.8 million.

Who needs a big retirement fund, anyway…
