The one-of-a-kind timepieces made for Monaco’s annual Only Watch benefit auction usually disappear into collectors’ vaults before you can say “time’s up.”

One of the best such pieces has just resurfaced, however, in the catalog for Antiquorum’s “Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces” sale to be held October 19 at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong.

A steal if it goes for the conservative high estimate of about $33,500, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Piece Unique made for Only Watch 2011 is a one-off 18K black gold diver’s chronograph.

On an orange Louis Vuitton rubber strap with an 18K black gold buckle, it comes complete with a custom Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite canvas trunk with  room for additional black and orange alligator straps suitable for dressier occasions.

Like starring in the next Bond film, for instance…
