When the Opel GT was first presented as a concept car at the Paris and Frankfurt motor shows in 1965, it was a decidedly sexy machine from GM’s German subsidiary.
Introduced as a production model late in 1968, Opel decided on some out-there advertising for the curvy creature, which had design ties to the Corvette but was altogether sexier in a European kind of way.
At least we think that’s what they’re going for here…
