We have always referred to our correspondent-at-large Duncan Quinn as DRIVEN‘s own 007, and he proved it the other day by rolling up at our Cape Porpoise, Maine, HQ in a 1970 Mercedes convertible looking like a secret agent on vacation.

Joining the array of cool cars habitually parked outside the building, the dark green 280SE Cabriolet turned heads with its classic good looks.

Coming courtesy of the Classic Car Club of Manhattan, it even managed to make an impression on the jaded DRIVEN staff—i.e., us.

With a 3.5-litre V8 under the hood and enough wood and leather inside for any respectable London club, it was a one hell of a stylish set of wheels.

Well done, Mr. Bond…
