If you’ve got $1.6 million lying around, you’d be stupid not to spend it on this drop-dead 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 “Competizione Speciale” by Carrozzeria Allegretti, being offered at RM Auctions‘ upcoming Monterey sale.
The one-off stunner with aluminum alloy body and six carburetors was commissioned by noted Ferrari collector Greg Garrison.
Garrison was the TV producer behind the smash hits The Milton Berle Show and The Dean Martin Show, among others, which obviously enabled him to build quite a car collection.
This particular car was actually conceived as an homage to a great Le Mans winner.
And, of course, it’s a world-class champion in it’s own right…
