The sizzling new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 just achieved an important milestone in automotive history when the 1,000th vehicle rolled off the production line.

The Argos orange car with chassis number 1,000 is destined for Germany and the garage of its new owner, a Bavarian architect who already owns a Lamborghini Diablo.

Lambo’s famed Sant’Agata Bolognese plant’s productivity has increased notably for the Aventador LP 700-4, compared to the previous flagship model: the Murciélago took two years and five months before the 1,000th example rolled off the assembly line.

Little more than a year from its official debut, the Aventador has garnered no less than 36 international prizes for its design and innovative technological solutions.
