A 1986 AC Autokraft MkIV Cobra, which should in no way be mistaken for a run-of-the-mill replica.
With lineage dating back to the original AC marque and the rights to use the hallowed name, the example on offer from RM Auctions is one of only 480 built in Brooklands, UK.
It had its stock 302 engine replaced with a Ford 351 Windsor engine, which is the same type that was used for MkIVs sold outside the United States.
With a 400 hp powerplant and British racing green paint, it’s expected to fetch up to $175,000.
In other words, “sold.”
