At the Beijing Auto Show later this month, Porsche is set to unveil the second-generation Cayenne GTS, a muscle-bound version of its super-popular SUV.

Equipped with 20 additional horsepower, a 20 mm lower ride height and a lower final drive ratio for improved driving dynamics, it’s aimed partly at Porsche purists who still sniff at the idea of an SUV from Stuttgart.

The 420 hp V8 is paired with an active all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission, which is good for 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 162 mph.
