Here’s another highlight from RM Auctions‘ megabucks sale in Monaco in May, coinciding with the 8th Grand Prix de Monaco Historique:
A gorgeous 1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce Zagato.
Only 16 of the curvy beauties were built between 1956 and 1959, making authentic Zagato-bodied examples extremely rare.
This particular SVZ has continuous provenance including period race history, and bears the Squadra Cornrero logo.

In 1960, the car competed at the Targa Florio, finishing 14th overall and 2nd in class.
It has since been restored to concours standards, and is expected to fetch up to about $560,000.
