We don’t feature a lot of cars from the 1990s; it’s sort of a lost decade, or maybe it’s just too recent. But this 1995 Porsche 911 GT2 Evolution is a notable exception.
Class winner of the 1996 12 Hours of Sebring race, it’s from the amazing Drendel Family Collection of Porsche road and race cars being auctioned off by Gooding & Company at its Amelia Island sale on March 9.
Spanning 25 years of Porsche history from 1973–1997, the sale marks the first time many of these historically important racing stars have ever been presented for auction.
Expected to fetch up to $425,000, the 911 GT2 is a modern classic in the true sense of the term.
And you get a free sticker collection with purchase…
