A rare championship-winning Porsche 906E prototype driven by racing legends will be offered at Bonhams’ Scottsdale sale in Arizona on January 19.
The 1967 Porsche 906E Einspritzrung “Long Nose, Short Tail” Endurance Racing Coupé usually goes by the name of the ex-Works, ex-Otto Zipper/Scooter Patrick, 1967 USRRC Under Two Liter Championship Winner.

The 906, more familiarly known as the “Carrera 6,” became the last street-legal racing car to be produced by Porsche and one of its most successful—not to mention most beautiful.
Bonhams isn’t saying how much the rare racer could fetch, but we’re easily talking millions.
