Continuing our coverage of RM Auctions’ upcoming Arizona sale on January 19-20, we present a rare 1957 BMW 507 Roadster for you delectation.
Produced by the famed German marque from 1956 to 1959, BMW had big plans to sell masses of them in the US.
The car proved too expensive, however, and only 252 examples were produced.
Elvis Presley was among the 507′s famous owners
Bad for BMW at the time, but an enormous boon to BMW collectors today.
Elvis Presley owned a 507, and the model’s lineage can be seen in the Z4 roadster of today.
Of course, nothing beats an original, perfectly restored 507 for the purist.
How pure? $1.2 million.
Nothing but the best for you…
