Meet the just-unveiled XKR-S Convertible, the fastest and most powerful Jaguar roadster ever built.
Designed to complement the XKR-S Coupe – the “pinnacle” of the Jaguar sports car range – the new model builds on the tradition of legendary open-top Jaguars and GTs like the E-Type and XK-SS.
“Explosive performance, precise handling, relaxed comfort and discreet luxury” are the hallmarks of the new model, which now tops the XK range consisting of the XK, XKR and XKR-S derivatives in coupe and convertible body styles.

The XKR-S Convertible takes advantage of the performance, dynamics, design, and interior upgrades originally introduced on its coupe sibling to create the fastest ever open-top Jaguar GT.
It’s supercharged V8 engine produces 550 hp and 502lb-ft of torque, with a top speed of 186 mph and a 0–60 mph clock of a mere 4.2 seconds (0–100 kmh in 4.4 seconds).
Priced at $138,000 apiece, it’s also the most expensive Jag on offer and of course will be a strictly limited edition; only 25 examples of the 2012 model year XKR-S Convertible will be sold in the U.S.
