Famed London purveyors of “food art” Bompas & Parr – creators of the walk-in gin & tonic – are launching an awesome Adventure Hamper in time for the holiday season.
Available exclusively at storied UK emporium Selfridges in a strictly limited edition of five priced at about $1,100 apiece, the hamper envisions the provisions a sybaritic Shackleton might bring on an Arctic expedition.

As such it contains everything from an ice axe and wooly socks to a brandy keg of the sort usually slung ’round the necks of St. Bernards.

No champagne flutes included, so you’ll have to swig straight from the bottle, rock star style….
