At Christie’s‘ Pop Culture: Rock and Pop Memorabilia in London on Nov. 15 you can snag Sid Vicious’ suit ($24,000) and Johnny Cash’s leather vest ($5,000).
But don’t overlook a lot of 10 candid photographs of Keith Richards taken by Tony Sanchez, author of 1979′s notorious I Was Keith Richards’ Drug Dealer.
Tony Sanchez’s lost photos of Keith Richards at Christie’s
Sanchez worked for Keef for eight years back in the day “buying drugs, running errands, and orchestrating cheap thrills.”
The photos on offer from Christie’s were used to illustrate the book, and are all the more precious because Sanchez has since lost the negatives.
Estimated at up to about $1,500, they are quite simply a steal….
