To hit 200 mph in a Lamborghini you don’t need a straightaway or even a racetrack – you need an airstrip.
For space shuttles.
The 200 MPH Challenge is an exclusive supercar club designed to help you crack the magic number.
Hitting that speed without doing some serious damage takes a lot of tarmac and some hefty safety precautions.

The club uses the the Mojave Spaceport 50 miles east of Los Angeles and the Miami Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport, 40 miles west of Miami, for the job.
The latter was built as a supersonic landing strip and serves as an alternate landing site for the space shuttle program.
After you pay your $5,000 and select a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Bentley capable of the digits, the Challenge issues you a professional driving instructor to help you get there.
If you make the grade you they even give you a nice certificate at the end.
You might even get a gold star for brining the Lambo back in one piece….
