What with the workwear craze at fever pitch, numerous brands have come out with their take on the classic canvas tool bag beloved of blue collar types who never dreamed they’d be at the vanguard of a hipster revolution.
However we haven’t seen any quite as seductive as this version, from Levi’s high end new Made & Crafted collection.
The Made & Crafted collection is a design and detail focused initiative from Levi’s XX premium division, based in Europe where they perhaps have a less prejudiced eye when it comes to interpreting American classics.

It’s also much better engineered than any we’ve seen, with plenty of inner storage pockets, the perfect grade of rugged canvas, and beautifully tanned leather that will obviously improve with age.
A more modern edition of the original, it’s made in Italy giving it a certain cosmopolitan flair that looks as fetching on the brunch tables of Brooklyn as it does on the beach at Biarritz.
